When you contact Sidetrack
The submission form collects your name, email address, company, website and message. Sidetrack uses these details to review your website, respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work. Company details and a message are optional for a website review. Messages marked “Direct to the founder” are directed to Sidetrack’s founder.
Share only what is useful for that first conversation. Do not include passwords, payment information or confidential technical documents. Form contents are not sent to website analytics.
On the public website, submissions are stored securely with Sidetrack’s hosting provider, Cloudflare, and delivered by email to Sidetrack. They are not sold or shared with third parties, and are kept only as long as needed to respond and discuss potential work. On a local preview build, submissions stay on the preview machine and the confirmation says so.
Your website brief
The online worksheet saves your answers in this browser on this device as you work. The draft is not sent to Sidetrack until you submit it. It stays on the device until you clear it, submit successfully or remove this website’s browser data. Avoid entering confidential information on a shared device.
When you submit, your reply details, answers and any material links are saved together for Sidetrack to review, and are stored and delivered to Sidetrack in the same way as contact enquiries.
Optional website analytics
On the public Sidetrack domain, Google Analytics can measure page visits if you allow it. Advertising features and personalisation are disabled. Analytics is not loaded on a local preview, or when your browser sends a privacy preference that disables it.
Page addresses sent by the website exclude query strings and fragments. The submission form does not send your name, email address, website or message to Google Analytics.
Your choice
Your analytics choice is saved in this browser when storage is available. You can change it through the footer. If you decline, the website disables analytics and removes its accessible Google Analytics cookies.

Questions or requests
Use the Sidetrack contact form for questions about information you have shared, or to request its deletion. Select “Direct to the founder” for privacy requests.
